Objectives of Police Diving Training

• Recover weapons, bodies, vehicles, and evidence from water.
• Investigate underwater crime scenes (murders, drownings, hit-and-run, disposal of evidence).
• Support search and rescue (SAR) and disaster response.
• Assist in boat accident and vehicle submersion investigations.
• Provide underwater security during VIP events and critical infrastructure protection.

Eligibility & Prerequisites

Serving police officer (armed / civil / marine / disaster response units).

Medically fit for occupational diving.

Strong swimming ability.

Psychological readiness for low-visibility and zero-visibility diving.
